Why is regional forest restoration important?
Our forests are under pressure from heat and drought. Mixed forests suited to their location can help make them more resilient and create habitats for animals and plants.

Where will the trees be planted, and what kinds of trees?
On the Ville near Cologne, in the Kerpen/Frechen area—right in our neighborhood. A mixed forest is being created there, consisting of various tree species suited to the site, including, for example, sessile oak, hornbeam, small-leaved linden, and fluttering elm, supplemented by species such as wild pear, field maple, and wild cherry.
Who is implementing the project?
Our partner, Planted, is also based here in Cologne. With Planted, companies like ours can implement regional nature conservation projects—such as forest restoration, forest conservation, and wetland restoration—with the support of local foresters and partners.
Does my VIVI MARI purchase from another retailer count, too?
No, only orders placed directly through the VIVI MARI online store.
